Decorative Arts Collection Museum Please Share This With Your Chapter Visit Our Sponsor Hello- As a chapter President  you are in a terrific position to help spread the word about the Decorative Arts Collection Museum and the work we do. Encourage them to support the Museum.  I'd like to share information about a new program the Museum is involved with: ShopforMuseums   This is a very exciting program!  It is an opportunity for ANYONE who shops online to generate income for the Museum! The program is pretty amazing.  It costs the Museum nothing.  AND it costs the online shopper nothing! The participating online retailers donate a percentage of your purchase to the museum.  You can still use sale or discount coupons online. How does this work?  Well, all you have to do is remember to go to www.shopformusems.com and select the Decorative Arts Collection Museum as your museum of choice.  Then, select from any of the more than 500 online retailers and then shop, shop, shop!  You can see the percentage of your purchase that will be donated to the Museum.  There are great online retailers who are a part of this program: Coldwater Creek, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Chico's, Zappos, etc.  You can also use the site to purchase hotel stays and other travel through Expedia.  Basically, anytime you or ANYONE (kids, hubby, even your mother-in-law) logs on to shop, have them go through this portal.  You can shop anonymously if you'd like.  The contributions add up for the Museum and the more people you get shopping for us, the better it is.  Click here to visit the ShoforMuseums website. Just imagine if you and 5 of your friends did your Christmas shopping online and the museum got an average of 5% of your total online purchases!  WOW!  You get the idea how this can add up! There are museums that annually get $20,000 -$30,000 from this program.  So, we know it works!   It just takes everyone to talk about and remember to use the site!
